Description
This piece is thrown from sturdy stoneware and shaped into a soft bottle silhouette: rounded body, gently rising neck, and a flared lip that feels great in the hand when you pour. The upper section is coated in a dark, mossy glaze with quiet shifts of green, brown and charcoal, like a forest hillside at dusk.
The lower part is left unglazed, revealing the sandy clay with turned rings that you can actually feel. The contrast between glossy, shaded glaze and raw, tactile earth gives the vessel a grounded, understated presence.
At around 18 cm in height with an 8 cm base diameter, itโs versatile by design:
as a minimal vase for a few stems, grasses or branches
as a table bottle for extra-virgin olive oil, infused oils, vinegar
or for small-batch spirits such as raki, tsipouro, grappa, sake, mezcal tasting, etc.
This is a one-of-a-kind piece โ there is only one. Small irregularities in glaze and texture are intentional and part of its handmade character.
