Kasane is a one-of-a-kind stoneware vessel, shaped entirely by hand and fired once.
No mold. No repetition. No second version.
With a 14 cm height and a substantial 830 g weight, the piece carries a strong, grounded presence. Its form widens gently at the body, creating a sense of stability and quiet power, while remaining balanced and intentional in proportion.
- The surface reveals layered earth tones, ash-like textures, and natural glaze movement around the rim. The contrast between the darker glazed upper area and the raw, striated body below reflects the firing process and the material itself, a record of heat, gravity, and time.
This piece is not designed as tableware, but as a functional ceramic vessel or sculptural object. It can stand alone, hold natural elements, or exist simply as an object of presence.
